Megan Teng is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, specializing in MEMS, sensor design, and machine learning. Her research focuses on PMUT-based volumetric environment sensing. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and International Business from National Taiwan University and is a recipient of the Katherine & James Lau Fellowship.

Ya-Chen (Justine) Tsai is now a second year PhD student in EECS Department, UC Berkeley. She received her B.S. in National Taiwan University, Department of Electrical Engineering in 2023. Her research interest focuses on CMOS-based microsystems for biosensing, especially the application catered to electrochemical aptamer-based sensing.

Peggy Tsao received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D., major in Design and minor in MEMS/Nano in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Prof. Liwei Lin and is expected to graduate in 2027.

Theodorus is a Ph.D. candidate at The University of Tokyo and a visiting researcher in the Javey group at UC Berkeley for two years. His research focuses on solution-processed optoelectronic devices as part of a collaboration between the Javey group and the Someya group at The University of Tokyo, aiming to develop flexible mid-infrared electronics and explore their biomedical applications. He earned his B.Eng. and M.Eng. from The University of Tokyo in 2021 and 2023, respectively, with research experience in spintronics, solar cells, and organic electronics.
