BSAC is located on the UC Berkeley campus at 656 Sutardja Dai Hall (link is external). We encourage visitors to use public transit when visiting.

Parking for Sutardja Dai Hall

Parking is extremely limited on the north side of the UC Berkeley campus. Please allow extra time to navigate any campus construction zones, find parking, and arrive at the building. One- and two-hour metered street parking (coins, cash, credit) can be found on the surrounding blocks, though open spaces may be limited.

Public Transportation

The nearest BART station is Downtown Berkeley BART. From there it is a scenic, slightly uphill, 15-20 minute walk to Sutardja Dai Hall. A taxi stand is located outside this BART station. Downtown Berkeley BART also offers valet bike parking

Campus Shuttles System: BearTransit

BearTransit is UC Berkeley’s Shuttle system serving the campus. The weekday campus shuttle (Perimeter or Central Campus; $1 for non-affiliates) leaves from the east side of Shattuck Ave. north of Center St., just across from the downtown Berkeley BART station.

View information on disability access and parking options. Notify any BearTransit shuttle driver and he or she will dispatch a transport van to arrive within 15 minutes of your request.
