Drawing from my experience as an MBA student at UC Berkeley Haas and my collaborations with two renowned Berkeley professors, I will share insights on bridging cutting-edge research and real-world applications through technology commercialization. This talk will explore the process of identifying market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and transforming academic innovations into viable products. I will also discuss the commercialization journey of my own company, from early-stage technology validation to securing customers and scaling operations, highlighting key lessons learned in navigating both academic and industry collaborations. Attendees will gain practical strategies for moving from research to market impact, while fostering mutually beneficial relationships between innovators, investors, and industry partners.
